What is PayPal?

PayPal is an online payment system that allows users to make payments using a credit card or checking account to anyone, whether the payee accepts credit cards or not, via e-mail. Simply speaking, PayPal will charge your credit card or checking account for the amount that you are asking, and PayPal will then send payment to your intended recipient. PayPal is a highly popular means of payment in the online auction industry, and it is now becoming an increasingly popular means of person-to-person and person-to-business payment.

Will I be charged fees or additional costs?

No. If you owe $50.00 in show entries, your credit card or checking account will be charged $50.00.

Will I need to go through a lengthy sign-up process?

You do need to subscribe to PayPal to be able to use the service. However, the sign-up is extremely simple, with easy-to-follow instructions, and takes less than five minutes to complete. Once you are signed up, you will only ever need to enter your username and password in the future to sign into the site and make a payment. PayPal is convenient and fun to use, you will certainly want to use it again! Please note: there are a couple of verification procedures that PayPal requires for your own security, and these can take a few days to process. If you intend to pay for your entries using PayPal, please do so with a few days' leeway before registration deadline.

How do I make my payment for my entries?

Simply go to PayPal's website and click on the link to Send Money. You will be given simple and easy instructions on how to set up your account and make your payment.

What you DO need to know as far as payment for Ferret Fandango is the account to which you want to make your payment. When you attempt to make a payment it will ask you for the e-mail address of the recipient. You MUST indicate that you wish for your payment to go to:

fandango@ferretclub.com

for us to receive your payment. In the space where you are asked for recipient's last name, simply leave that line blank.

Don't want to use PayPal to pay for entries?

You don't have to use PayPal to pay for your entries - you may send a check or money order to us through U.S. Postal Mail to: Pennsylvania Ferret Club & Shelter, PO Box 5074, Limerick, PA 19468. Make checks payable to PFCS. Please note, your registrations will not be held until payment is received.
